Fort Collins Coin Club meeting notice: November 3, 2017 and October minutes

The next meeting will be on Friday, November 3 at 6:00 PM, at the regular time and place, Allnutt Funeral Home on 650 W. Drake.  The auction list is attached. List of 2017 upcoming coin shows: Denver Coin Expo at the National Western Complex, Thursday-Saturday, October 25-28 Fort Collins, our December one day show, Saturday, December 2 at the Lincoln Center Club Christmas Party: Friday, December 8, at 6:00 PM at the Fort Collins VFW.  Note that this is the 2nd Friday in December!  The address is 603 Lesser DR, Fort Collins. Fort Collins Coin Club minutes and meeting notice for Friday, September 1, 2017

The next meeting will be the first Friday in September, 9/1/17, at the Allnutt Funeral Home at 6:00 PM. The auction list will be going out later than usual, so look for it by e-mail around August 30. We had 39 people in attendance, and the ounce of silver was won by Don P. Sorry Dick V! You missed the membership prize of $25, so it goes to $30. Treasurer Carl D. reported the club's cash, details are in the minute book. Carl also reported that deposits were paid for the upcoming December and March coin shows. No meeting in July, and minutes

Notices: There will be NO meeting in July - have a safe and Happy 4th of July! The August meeting will be one week late - on Friday, August 11 at the normal 6:00 pm starting time at Allnutt Funeral Home. We have a new website!  Check it out at http://fortcollinscoinclub.com/.  Thanks to Aron L. for the new fresh look! Minutes: President Dan Y. was unable attend to his vacation commitment, and V.P. Ken S. filled in for him. We had 3 new members join us, bringing the membership to 70 members strong. Treasurer Carl D. gave his financial report. FCCC Minutes – May 2017

The minutes are being sent out early this time, as there are three updates/items that need to be published now - see below for details. The next meeting will be on Friday, June 2 at 6:00 pm at the normal location.  This meeting will be the elections of the officers for the next year. Allnutt Funeral Home, 650 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO. I will be hosting another grading contest.  You get to examine 3 PCGS "slabbed" coins that have the assigned grades covered up.  I have not decided on the coins yet.   There are no "details" grades (such as cleaned, whizzed, damaged, etc), the coins all received straight grades.  You enter your grades on the entry form before the auction.  I will score the forms during the auction and announce the winner…

FCCC Minutes – April 2017

The next meeting will be on Friday, May 5 at 6:00 pm at the normal location: Allnutt Funeral Home, 650 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO. I will be hosting another grading contest.  You get to examine 3 PCGS "slabbed" coins that have the assigned grades covered up.  They are a circulated Lincoln Cent, a 1921 Peace Dollar and a Columbian Commemorative Half Dollar.  There are no "details" grades (such as cleaned, whizzed, damaged, etc), the coins all received straight grades.  You enter your grades on the entry form before the auction.  I will score the forms during the auction and announce the winner after the auction is over.  An exact match correct answer as to the letter and number grade gets 10 points, if you are 1 number grade off (say you grade it…
