The September meeting is on the first Friday in September, September 7, at our normal venue at Allnutt, 600 W. Drake in Fort Collins. Doors open at 6:00 for snacks, fellowship and tall tales or a coin deal, business meeting starts at 6:30, followed by the auction (lot listing attached).

Minutes from the August 3, 2018 meeting:
37 members in attendance. We have 71 paid up and life members. The attendance prize of one ounce of silver was won by Dan P, and the $20 membership prize was won by Terry H.
Treasurer Carl D. gave his report, cash details are in the minute book. Carl reported that he paid money on the December coin show, the Christmas party, the club’s PO box and bank safety deposit box.
President Dan Y. reflected on the last 10 years of the coin club. Many thanks to Dan for his service!

It was reported that long time coin dealer Dale Orlowski passed away recently.
President Dan Y. reported on his experience at the ANA Summer Semi9nar on counterfeit detection. Other summer seminar attendees were Dave J. and Dan C.
I gave a short talk on “Cherry Picking on the Cheap”.

Christmas Party!
Well, its not “Party Like its 1999”, but it will be on Friday, December 14 at the Fort Collins VFW Hall. That’s a week later than normal, but it was moved to avoid conflicting with the VFW and Pearl Harbor Day. Details to come, but mark your calendars. No charge to members and their guests, club provides catered food and cool coin related and silver BINGO! prizes. Come hungry!
