Fort Collins Coin Club – December reminders and minutes

Home / Uncategorized / Fort Collins Coin Club – December reminders and minutes

This is December – well, almost.  That means two big things for us coin geeks:

#1.  The first thing is that our coin club December coin show is on Saturday, December 2 at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins.  It’s on Saturday only.

#2.  The Christmas Party.  The date is Friday, December 8 (which technically is the second Friday in December)   Same place as last year – the Fort Collins VFW at 603 Lesser DR, Fort Collins.   Food is catered in and  served at 6:00 pm, and if you can, bring a dessert to pass.  Bring your spouses, significant others and kids.  It’s a very family friendly event with dinner, followed by Bingo for coin prizes.

#3.  So remember, no club meeting or activity on Friday December 1.

And, In January the next regular meeting will be on Friday, January 5 at our normal locale: Allnutt Funeral Home on W. Drake.  Doors open at 6:00 PM.  I will send out the auction lot listing later.

Minutes of the November 3 meeting:

Pres. Dan Y. noted the a long-time former member, Albert G. died at age 91.

Pres. Dan also reported that the Denver Coin Expo has been sold to Neil at Erie Gold and Silver.  We are hoping for some positive changes in a show that has been on the decline.
